Admissions Process

Our Admissions Process

Step One

The first step in determining if Pace Brantley is the right school for your child is to get familiar with our school. Check out the Pace Brantley campus on a virtual tour and see what others are saying about our school and our programs.

Step Two

Next, you will need to complete an Inquiry Form and attend an Information Session. Information sessions are held on Wednesdays at noon unless otherwise noted. Once the inquiry form is completed, you will receive information to sign up for a session via Zoom.

Step Three

Once you have completed the Inquiry Form and attended an Information Session, you will have the opportunity to request an application for Pace Brantley Preparatory School. From there, the application process includes submitting a completed application, all other requested paperwork, and paying the $50.00 non-refundable application fee.

Step Four

Once the Admissions Committee has received and reviewed your child’s application and paperwork, you may be invited to the next step of the process, which includes a campus tour and student visit day.

Step Five

After a visit has been completed, the admissions committee will meet to make a final decision on acceptance to Pace Brantley Preparatory School.

Initial Inquiry

After the Inquiry Form has been received, you will be contacted by a member of the Admissions Team, who will provide more information, answer any questions you may have and ensure you are signed up for one of our Zoom Information Sessions.

Application Process

If invited to apply, our team will email you the application and prospective student paperwork forms and school information. Once the $50.00 non-refundable application fee is paid, application and required paperwork is received, your application will be reviewed by the Admission Committee, which meets weekly. Our Admissions Coordinator will be in touch with families to discuss the committee’s recommendations.

Student Visit Day

If invited for a visit day, the student will spend time in the classroom and participate in admission testing. Admission testing is standardized, and an assessment summary will be provided. A $250.00 non-refundable testing fee is required.

Campus Tour: Once a student is invited to the campus for a visit day, the student’s immediate family will be provided a campus tour at that time. Virtual campus and classroom tours are available until this phase of the admission process.

Admission Decision: The Admissions Committee meets weekly to review student applications, review information from visit days and make final recommendations. Decisions are communicated by the Admission Coordinator as soon as possible.

A parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Notice to parents enrolling students under the FES-UA scholarship: Please note that our school accommodates students with disabilities in accordance with the requirements under federal and local law. However, your child may not necessarily receive the types of accommodations or related services that your child may be entitled to receive at a public school as public schools have different obligations under the IDEA. The IDEA does not apply to private schools.

We are happy to have a conversation with you about the accommodations that your child may need and be entitled to at our school.
